Throughout third year i decorated my bay with anything and everything that inspired me and my work.

Here are a few pics of my final fabric samples that i produced for the minor project.

I loved using my sketchbooks and development books to experiment with different image combinations and techniques before i began to work on fabric.

This was the initial project in third year which we handed in just before Christmas. My concept focused on tools and other industrial objects but with a twist as i was designing for womenswear Spring/Summer 2009. I used collage quite a lot within my drawings as i wanted to create a tactile edge that could be easily translated onto fabric.

I like the slightly unfinished feel to some of my drawings and enjoyed experimenting with different outcomes in my sketchbooks and development books.

I am currently in my third and final year at Cleveland College of Art and Design studying on the BA ( Hons) Textiles and Surface design degree. As i post this i am more than half way through my Final Major Project (which is an extremely scary thought) and will be posting interesting and inspiring work alongside pieces of my own work throughout the next couple of months. Hope you enjoy…………..
